Families

A Mackay family holiday with your own pool

A family holiday house at Shoal Point with a private pool, the beach across the road, 4 bedrooms (one made up on request) and room for up to 8, babies included.

The pool

Fenced, private, and yours all year

The in-ground pool is fully fenced and private to your group, with a covered deck for shade and lawn to spread out on.

From November to May it is stinger season along the tropical Queensland coast, so the sea is for looking at and the pool is for swimming. The dining room opens straight onto the deck, so lunch is never far from the water.

Questions

Good to know

Anything else, call Melissa Mitchell Property on 07 4863 1575.

Is the pool fenced?

Yes. The pool is private to your group and fully fenced, with a covered deck, an open deck and lawn around it. As with any pool, keep an eye on the children.

Can the kids swim at the beach?

The beach across the road is best for walks, beachcombing and the low-tide flats. From November to May it is stinger season in tropical Queensland, which is when your own pool comes into its own.

Are cots or high chairs supplied?

Not confirmed yet. Ask Melissa Mitchell Property when you book.

How far is it to the kangaroos at Cape Hillsborough?

About an hour: about 62 km, around 1 hour by car. Go early, because the kangaroos come down to the beach at sunrise.
